Book Release Event in Baripada, Odisha

Shirdi Sai Global Foundation and Shree Shirdi Sai Peeth Charitable Trust, Baripada, organized a book release event at Sahid Smruti Bhawan, Baripada on 24th Mar 2019.  Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji lit the ceremonial lamp. Three books authored by Dr. Satpathyji were released, namely  Shri Guru Bhagabata Prarthana, Shri Guru Bhagabata Vol-VI in Odia and New findings on Shirdi Sai Baba in English language.  

Help was given to the special School for Blind, Deaf &Dumb, Laxmiposi, Baripada, Child Care Institutions for Orphan Girls, Maa Laxmi Mahila Sanghathan; Rose School for the mentally challenged; and Bharat Jyoti Special School for the Blind, Deaf & Dumb and mentally challenged children, Mendhakhai, Udala, and Mayurbhanj. Trustees of many adjoining Trusts of Odisha, UP, Delhi, Gurugram and other places attended the function.

Ram Navami Celebration at Sai Ka Aangan

Ram Navami was celebrated at Sai Ka Aangan on the 14th April 2019. The event began with Sarva Deva Pujan and Ved Paath. Shri Sainath’s Mahabhishek was performed after the customary hawan.  A fanfare accompanied the special Paalki procession in the evening after the Dhoop Arati. Later, devotional songs were sung by the devotees at the Dwarkamai. The day ended with the Gopal Kala and Langar Prasad. Dr. Satpathy visited the temple on this occasion.

16th Annual Day Celebration, Sai Karuna Dham, Noida

Sai Karuna Dham, Noida celebrated its 16th  Foundation Day on 13th April, 2019 in the ground of the City Public School, Noida. Dr. C.B. Satpathyji graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. An evening performance was presented by the children of the Shirdi Sai Public School, Moradabad and Sai Karuna Dham, Noida. It was followed by singing of Sai Bhajans by Anuradha Paudwal, the famous singer. The annual report of the temple was presented by Shri Arun Kumar and the annual magazine 'Sai Prabah' was released. Satpathyji advised the Sai devotees and audience to serve the poor, needy and particularly those who can't afford their medical treatment

Fani Relief Activities by Shirdi Sai Global Foundation, Bhubaneswar 

Cyclone Fani, one of the severest storms, hit the coastal region of Odisha state on 3rd May 2019. Shri Jagannath Dham of Puri suffered the worst effects of its land fall. The winds damaged half a million houses, uprooted hundreds of thousands of trees and knocked out power, telecommunications and water for millions of people in districts like Puri, Khurda, Cuttack and Jagatsingpur. Shirdi Sai Global Foundation Bhubaneswar distributed relief materials in different parts of Bhubaneswar and Puri. Items like Lantern, Mosquito net, flattened rice, hand fans, clothes, etc. were distributed among hundreds of families in ‘Duggal’ village of Puri and many other villages around. The Shirdi Sai Global Foundation team also helped in rendering medical and other logistical help in the much needed areas. They also helped in repairing some damaged houses.

Recognition to Shri Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan, New Zealand

Shri Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan of NZ Inc was declared as the Best Religious Organisation doing Community Service in Auckland - 2019. The Pran Pratishtha of this temple was done by Dr. Satpathy ji on 9th Feb 2014. It supports several projects locally and globally through the Red Cross. Last year it took up the renovation of a flood affected school situated in a remote part of Kerala, directly, through one of its members.

Shirdi Sai Baba Nutan Tathya Book Release, Bhubaneswar

Visions Printers and Publishers, Bhubaneswar along with Shirdi Sai Global Foundation released the Odia translation of the book, ‘New Findings on Shirdi Sai Baba’ authored by Dr C.B. Satpathyji at the Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Saturday, July 27, 2019. The Odia version of the book is titled ‘Nutan Tathya - Shirdi Sai Baba’. This book is based on primary and secondary data on Shirdi Sai Baba, which were hitherto unknown. 

Dr. Satpathy graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Justice B.K.Nayak, Member (Judicial) of the Odisha Lokayukta and Dr. Harekrishna Satapathy, Vice Chancellor, KISS were the Guests of Honor. The function was attended by a large number of delegates and Sai devotees from various parts of Odisha.

The students of SAI International School presented a brilliantly crafted dance composition on the life and teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Guru Poornima Celebration & Book release ceremony at Sai Ka Aangan

Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon celebrated Guru Poornima on 16th July 2019. The function was attended by a large number of devotees.

The book, ‘New Findings on Shirdi Sai Baba’ written in English by Dr. C B Satpathyji, has been translated into Odia and Hindi. The Odia translation is titled ‘Shirdi Sai Baba Nutan Tathya’ while the Hindi translation is titled ‘Shirdi Sai Baba Naveen Tathya’. Two new books by Dr. C B Satpathyji in Odia, ‘Shri Guru Bhagavat’ Vol. 6 and ‘Shri Guru Prarthana- Shri Guru Bhagavat’ were displayed at the Sai ka Aangan book counter in his presence.

A grand Paalki procession was taken out in the evening. This was followed by singing of devotional songs. Dr. Satpathyji addressed the devotees who had assembled at Dwarkamai. The event ended with the customary Gopal Kala after the Shej Aarti.

Maha Samadhi Diwas Celebration and e-Book release, Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon, 8th October 2019

Sai Ka Aangan, Gurgaon celebrated the Maha Samadhi Day of Shri Sainath on October 8, 2019.  On this day, Shri Sai Satcharita Parayan was organized in the afternoon. Dr. Satpathyji graced the occasion in the evening and made public the e-version of his book titled ‘New Findings on Shirdi Sai Baba’. The e-book is available worldwide on Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play, Rakuten kobo, Barnes & Noble, Books2go and OverDrive.

Book Release Ceremony, Bhubaneswar, 17th October 2019

Vision Printers and Publisher along with Shirdi Sai Global Foundation organized a book release event at Sai Dham, Tankpani Road, Bhubaneswar on 17th October 2019. Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji graced the event as the Chief Guest. Shri Guru Bhagavat Volume 7 in Odia, and the e-Book in English of New findings on Shirdi Sai Baba were released by Dr. Satpathyji on this occasion.

Third Foundation Day Celebration, Sai Kashmiri Parivar, 3rd November 2019

The 3rd Foundation Day of Sai Kashmiri Parivar was held on 3rd November 2019 at Club Florence, Gurugram, Haryana. Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, Founder Patron, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Devotional songs were rendered by children and the community, which was followed by Rauf, the traditional dance performed by women in Kashmir. The first online newsletter of the Trust was released by Dr. Satpathyji. In his keynote address he emphasised the importance of preserving the rich culture of Kashmiris by remaining a close-knit community and advised them to continue their philanthropic activities. The event was attended by a large number of devotees from the NCR and beyond, most of whom are Kashmiri Pandits who have been displaced from J & K.

Service Camp at Tigri Mela, 9th to 12th November 2019

Under the aegis of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation, a service camp was organized by Shri Shirdi Sai Karuna Sansthan, Moradabad at Tigri from 9th Nov to 12th Nov 2019. More than 150 devotees from Gurugram, Delhi, Moradabad and other places camped on the shore of river Ganges. Besides regular Aartis of Shri Sai Baba, activities like samuhik Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan, night long Shri Sai Naam Jaap and Shri Satya Narayan Katha Pooja as well as distribution of food, clothes and medicines were carried out. A seminar was organized on 11th November 2019. An intensive cleaning activity was undertaken by the volunteers of SSGF. A display gallery was created to highlight the philanthropic activities, service to underprivileged sections of society and disaster relief work by different units of SSGF under the guidance of Dr. C. B. Satpathyji.

Release of Shri Guru Bhagavat (Kannada), Hosur, 20th October 2019 

The Kannada translation of five volumes of `Shri Guru Bhagavat’ were released by Dr. C. B. Satpathy at a grand event organized by Shri Shirdi Sai Mangalam Trust (Hosur) on 20th October 2019. Noted Kannada writers, Shri Babu Krishnamurthy, Shri Varadarajan Iyengar and Shri Ananta Ramu were the Guests of Honour at the book launch function. The task of translation of Odia Guru Bhagavata into Kannada was undertaken by Mrs. Sumana Balu, Shri Vinay Shastri, Mrs. Pallavi and Shri C. R. Krishnaswamy. The cultural programs at the event included a dance performance by the famous dance group headed by Smt. Rajeswari Sainath and Smt. Vyshnavie Yagnesh on the theme of Shri Guru Bhagavata and a skit by Sai devotees on Baba's life. The event was attended by devotees and trustees of various Shirdi Sai temples.

Guru Samarpan Divas Celebration, Mumbai, 5th November 2019

The 17th Guru Samarpan Divas was celebrated by Kaka Saheb Dixit trust of Shri Sai Baba, Mumbai on 5th November 2019, in memory of the first darshan of Shri Sai Baba by Shri Kaka Saheb Dixit on 2nd November 1909.  The program started with Dhoop Aarati and beautiful Nritya Vandana by Dr. Uma Rele and her troupe. Shri Venkatesh Inamdar gave a detailed account of various activities conducted by the trust. Dr. Satpathy appreciated the social work performed by the Trust.  During the Bhajan Sandhya, Pt. Ajit Kadkade and Sh. Abhijit Ghoshal rendered beautiful devotional songs. The program ended with Sej Aarti and distribution of Mahaprasad.
