Live in the world as if the whole world belongs to us, depart from the world as if nothing belongs to us.

- Dr. C.B. Satpathy

“For those who know him, the fact that he is divinity embodied does not come as a surprise at all. What inspires and stuns most is the normalcy with which he holds this divinity within him! Sai is the thread that weaves through every facet of his existence - be it through the soulful poems he writes, the spiritual heights he takes one to, through his melodious rendering of Sai Bhajans, or the pun-filled humor that laces his speech.

He is multi-talented, yet so down-to-earth that one who is not introduced to his versatility can hardly imagine it. His humility is amply reflected in the fact that he calls himself a servant of Sai Baba and implores Sai’s followers to do the same.”

Excerpt from the editors' note from the book 'Shirdi Sai Baba and other Perfect Masters"

Sometime in the second decade of the twenty-first century, in an evening, when the first stars in the sky were still bidding adieu to the departing dusk, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy was addressing a group of people in a very calm and serene ambiance. Dr. Satpathy said, ‘when I look at where I stand today, I see that I have many years of experience but am still learning, and have much less time to disseminate what I could learn over the years. Time is what I am running short of today…

What makes the life of this man extraordinary, while he has seldom failed in proclaiming himself as an ordinary one?

Dr. C.B. Satpathy is a noted scholar, spiritual thinker, author and a humanitarian. He is an impeccable personification of the noble principles of life such as love, empathy, compassion, simplicity, humility, devotion to God and sacrifice. As an heir to a family of great academicians and administrators, versatile young writer of his time,  perfect family man, an accomplished and decorated professional, compassionate and humanitarian, an ardent devotee of his Master and a friend, philosopher and guide to millions of people across the globe, Dr. Satpathy has  experienced it all with equanimity.

As he holds, the year 1989 marked a turning point in his life when he visited the Holy Shrine of Shri Sai Baba located in Shirdi (Maharashtra). Ever since, Dr. C.B. As many people who have had a long-standing relationship with him say - even a short meeting with Dr. Satpathy may change one’s life forever.  This process may not necessarily involve miracles or receive mantra to chant or receiving some preachings, but it is The Connection that he establishes with your inner being irrespective of who you are or where you come from. Such short meetings have been good enough to inspire people in many ways over the years - be it the creation of spiritual institutions, or inspiration to write or to realize the divine path prescribed by Shri Shirdi Sai and other saints. Some have even been inspired to establish educational institutions or to undertake various types of philanthropic activities. Many come to him to receive inspiration to tread along the mundane path of life. Walking hand in hand with people of all strata of the society, Dr. Satpathy has touched everyone to the core with his unique way of belongingness and benevolence.

History and mythology hold that the divine life is always built upon the foundation of simplicity and sacrifice. Dr. Satpathy says, “it is simple to be difficult and difficult to be simple. God can be realized with simplicity.” To emphasize, he further says “Look at the lives of Saints like Shri Ram Krishna Paramhansa and Shri Shirdi Sai Baba.”
