LEADING THE SAI MOVEMENT

Dr. C. B. Satpathy is the leading torch-bearer of the Sai movement in India and across the world thereby bringing to light the message of service, compassion, love, peace and tolerance expounded by Shri Sai during his lifetime as mentioned in the holy text - Sai Satcharitra. 

 

It was in the year 1989 that Dr. Satpathy found his spiritual master Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi, the famous saint from Maharashtra. His faith and devotion to Shri Sai is reflected in his tireless efforts to propagate the teachings of Shri Sai across the world.
 

Sai Movement in India 

Millions of people have been guided by Dr. Satpathy to follow the holy path of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba. He has inspired and guided the creation of Sai Temples in India. He is the Chief Patron of more than 60 Spiritual and Charitable trusts worldwide. Dr Satpathy has been instrumental in organizing Shirdi Sai Baba Camps at Kumbha Mela Allahabad (1995, 2001, 2007, 2013), Nasik (2003), Haridwar (2004, 2010 and 2016), Tigri mela on the bank of river Ganges at Garh Mukteshwar on the borders of Meerut and Moradabad districts and Krishna Pushkaralu Mela (2004, 2016) at Vijayawada as well. Shirdi Sai Baba camp was put up in the Godavari Pushkaralu Mela in 2015 in Rajahmundry. Large number of devotees and visitors visit the camp. The devotees visiting these camps are served by volunteers in the camps. The unique aspect of such an assembly is the extensive philanthropy work that is undertaken during these days such as distributing medicines, food, blankets, audio/visual material and publications about Shri Shirdi Sai Baba for spreading his teachings.

 

Sai Movement across the world 

Under his inspiration and guidance, SAI UTSAV (International Conference on Shirdi Sai Baba) have been organized in different countries which include Chicago (USA) -2001 and 2009,  in Johannesburg and Nairobi in Africa(2002 ),  Sydney (Australia)-2002 and 2016,  Auckland (New Zealand) – 2016, etc.  He has been instrumental in establishing Sai Baba related organizations in countries like US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK etc. TV and Radio stations in Chicago, New Jersey, Dallas (USA), Johannesburg, South Africa and other places have broadcast and beamed many discourses given by Dr. Satpathy across the world during his visit to these countries.
