Event to celebrate Shri Shirdi Sai Baba’s life and teachings

And hosting of ‘Baba’s Paduka’ from Shirdi: 28th October, 2017 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi

Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy received Shri Shirdi Sai Baba’s holy Paduka at Jhandewalan, New Delhi. The holy Paduka of Baba was duly worshipped and Dr. Satpathy started the procession of Baba’s Palki from Jhandewalan to Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi at 10.00 am. Also present were Sh Bhausaheb Wakchaure, Trustee, Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, Sh Arun Kumar, Additional DG, CRPF, Sh Rajeev Joshi, Additional Secretary, UPSC, Sh Harish Abrol, Secretary, Sai Baba Temple, Lodhi Road, Sh Deepak Banga and other Trustees of Sai Palanhar Trust, among others. The Trustees of Sai Palanhar Trust proceeded with the devotees present to Talkatora Stadium.

The procession reached Talkatora Stadium at 12 noon. Dr. Satpathy received the procession and placed Baba’s Paduka on stage for the darshan by devotees who thronged to the venue in large numbers from all parts of Delhi and NCR. Baba’s Noon Aarti was conducted in the presence of Dr. Satpathy and other distinguished guests.


In the evening, Dr. Satpathy addressed the audience. In his speech, Dr. Satpathy said that Baba’s devotees and Trusts and organizations working in the cause of Baba have assembled at this points because of their unflinching dedication towards Baba. This shows the strength of the global Shirdi Sai Movement. The day will come when the whole world will be enriched by one global Shirdi Sai family. A true devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba will always look to help others ahead of his own self, which is the core philosophy of Baba. During the Mahasamadhi centenary year of Shirdi Sai Baba, Shirdi Sai Global Foundation is committed to organizing a number of programmes in various parts of India and many other places like USA, UK, Australia, South Africa, various parts of Europe etc.


Throughout the day, various artists enthralled the audience with soulful and melodious devotional song performances.
