The Governor of Haryana pays a visit to Sai Ka Angan and meets with Dr. Satpathy
Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, visited Sai Ka Angan, Gurugram on August 24th, 2023. During this visit, he had the privilege of meeting with Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji, and the event was commemorated with a gathering at the Sabha Mandap.
In his address, the Hon’ble Governor praised the serene ambiance and surroundings of the place, drawing parallels to the spiritual vibrations of Shirdi. He commended Dr. Satpathy's exceptional leadership in social and welfare initiatives and highlighted the pivotal role of a Guru in one's life, particularly emphasizing its significance within the premises of Sai Ka Angan. The Hon’ble Governor expressed his satisfaction with the empowerment of women and girls within the establishment, recognizing them as embodiments of prosperity (Laxmi) deserving of unwavering support.
Dr. Satpathy ji conveyed warm greetings and emphasized the fundamental virtues of simplicity, empathy, and compassion as significant contributions to society. Dr. Satpathy ji also celebrated the accomplishments of the temple's associated children, showcasing their talents spanning generations and encompassing various domains like arts, sports, and academics – an experience that he found particularly inspiring.
Dr. Satpathy ji extended his felicitation to the esteemed Hon’ble Governor by presenting a Shirdi Sai Global Foundation stole and a memento. In return, the Hon’ble Governor honored Dr. Satpathy ji with a shawl and a memento as well.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Scientific Adviser to the Minister of Defence. Mrs. Kumkum Bhatia, a trustee of the temple, extended the vote of thanks.
