Samarpan 2025 – A Celebration of Compassion & Commitment to Humanity, at Utkal Mandap in Bhubaneswar, with Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji as the Chief Guest.
On November 6, 2025, the So AM I Foundation hosted its 6th anniversary event, Samarpan 2025 – A Celebration of Compassion & Commitment to Humanity, at Utkal Mandap in Bhubaneswar, with Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event commenced with an introductory audiovisual presentation showcasing the diverse initiatives undertaken by the So AM I Foundation. Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial lamp, joined by Padma Shri awardee Prof. Debi Prasanna Pattanayak (Chairman of the So AM I Foundation) and Shri Chanchal Rana, IAS — Bhubaneswar Municipal Commissioner & Vice Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority — who attended as Guest of Honour.
Shri Debi Prasanna Pattanayak, Chairperson of the So AM I Foundation, felicitated Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji during the event. Dr. Satpathy ji extended his felicitations to Shri Debi Prasanna Pattanayak and Shri Chanchal Rana.
The highlight of the evening was felicitation of individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond in their service to humanity with the 3 SAI Awards namely SAI SHRI, SAI BHUSHAN & SAI SAHAYA. This year, Dr. Satpathy awarded them.
* SAI SHRI was awarded to Shri Sai Prakash Mohanty, Founder, Organisation for Rural Development which is an orphanage providing care & education to orphans, children of single parents & from the marginalized communities.
* SAI BHUSHAN was awarded to notable social worker Shri Gagan Paital who has been doing selfless service of collecting old clothes, toys and other essential items and distributing them in the remote areas of Kandhamal, Koraput and Malkangiri.
* SAI SAHAYA award was presented to SNM Group & FALCON Group for their constant encouragement enabling So Am I to turn vision into action, and compassion into meaningful change.
These awards are So Am I Foundation’s symbolic commitment to encouraging & recognizing selfless acts of kindness & dedication.
The magazine titled Samarpan was unveiled by Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji, along with members of the So AM I Foundation.
Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji commended the collective efforts of all those associated with the So AM I Foundation in promoting the theme ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ (May all beings be happy).
He encouraged the Foundation to develop a narrative showcasing the journeys of individuals who have benefitted from its initiatives. Emphasizing the essence of seva (selfless service) as the highest form of devotion, Dr. Satpathy ji highlighted how compassion, humility, and shared responsibility can bring about meaningful transformation in communities.
