Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan, New Zealand Celebrates 10th Foundation Day Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji graced the 10th Anniversary festivities of the Shirdi Sai temple in Auckland on February 9th, 2024, as the Chief Guest. A decade ago, Dr. Satpathy Ji conducted the Pran Pratishtha, and since then, the Sansthan has made remarkable progress under the regular guidance from Dr. Satpathy Ji. He was accorded a ceremonial Mauri traditional welcome. On behalf of the Shirdi Sai Sansthan of New Zealand, Dr. Satpathy Ji presented a fully equipped ambulance, valued at approximately 300,000 NZ Dollars, to St. Jon’s Hospital. This generous donation aims to address the increasing healthcare requirements of the Auckland communities. The event saw the presence of numerous notable individuals, Members of Parliament Carlos Cheung (National) and Dr Parmjeet Parmar (ACT), Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust Chairman Jeet Suchdev, Former NZ First MP Mahesh Bindra, Former President of Hindu Council of New Zealand Vinod Kumar, along with community leaders from various organizations. Dr. Satpathy Ji, in his speech, emphasized the significance of providing such services to the community. He also commended the Sansthan's efforts in aiding flood-affected individuals in Fiji, Chennai, and Auckland. A cultural extravaganza was arranged, featuring captivating dance performances set to the sacred tunes of Sri Guru Bhagwat. The Sansthan bestowed honors upon patrons, artists, and guests. Ms. Neeta Bhushan, the High Commissioner of India to New Zealand, met with Dr. Satpathy Ji, extending warm greetings and praising his contributions to society during her speech.
