Hon'ble Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal Felicitated Dr. Satpathy
On August 12th, 2023, the event titled "Shri Guru Bhagwat Utsav" was held at Ravindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, and was hosted by Shirdi Sai Global Foundation located at Sai Dham, Tanka Pani Road, Bhubaneswar.
Governor Ganeshi Lal ji of Odisha bestowed his recognition upon Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji for his remarkable contributions in crafting "Shri Guru Bhagwat." A letter of appreciation was presented by the Governor to Dr. Satpathy, recognizing his insightful guidance and teachings on "Shri Guru Bhagwat" and its contemporary significance.
The book authored by Dr. Satpathy has been published in more than sixteen languages, including Odia. It has gained substantial acclaim for its committed efforts in disseminating profound teachings to the global audience. Frequently likened to the enlightening and thought-provoking attributes of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Guru Bhagwat has garnered tremendous recognition on an international scale.
Rajeev Chandra Joshi (IAS), Principal Secretary to Govt of Assam, addressed the importance of Shri Guru Bhagwat Day observed in the USA, while Shri Satyabrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to Govt of Odisha, expressed appreciation for the holy book and its significance to mankind.
In the course of the event, Dr. Satpathy discussed the advantages of the sacred book and its teachings for mankind, underscoring its inherent value.
“Guru frees from dualism and leads the way to truth”, expressed by hon’ble Governor. Furthermore, the Governor emphasized the widespread acclaim and admiration garnered by Dr. Satpathy during his recent visit to the United States in July 2023.
The festivities extended with a diverse range of cultural presentations, encompassing exquisite bhajans rendered by Antara Chakraborty, live art by Puspanjali, a graceful Odishi dance performance by Ms Aahana (Mangalcharan), and a captivating showcase by the renowned troupe of Padma Shri Smt. Aruna Mohanty (Dashavatar). The event also featured a session with Kuna Tripathy (Hey Narayan).
