Land Consecration Ceremony of New Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
On the October 16, 2025, the Shri Shirdi Sai Kripa Dham Foundation in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, celebrated a significant milestone with the land consecration ceremony for its new Shridi Saibaba Temple. The event was graced by the presence of renowned scholar, spiritual thinker, and humanitarian, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy.
Upon arrival, Dr. Satpathy was warmly welcomed by temple trustees and devotees with traditional rituals. He then performed the land consecration (Bhoomi Puja), a sacred ritual that seeks Mother Earth's blessings before temple 's construction begins. Dr. Satpathy also attended the Madhyan Aarti.
Later that afternoon, Dr. Satpathy visited Shirdi Sai Mandir at 13042, 84th Avenue, Surrey, where children presented captivating traditional dance performances.
In his address, Dr. Satpathy encouraged the younger generation to explore and excel in various fields, including art, culture, music, literature, and science. He also appreciated the diverse cultural landscape of Surrey and Seattle, highlighting the importance of community bridging.
