Guru Bhagwat Tungi, Noida, Sector-61
On April 25, 2024, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji inaugurated a newly built structure – a Guru Bhagwat Tungi located within the premises of Sai Karuna Dham, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Historically, the term "Tungi" has denoted a hub for varied religious, cultural, and literary dialogues and performances in Odisha.
Shri Guru Bhagwat Tungi was inaugurated with traditional worship performed by pundits. Dr. Satpathy conducted traditional Hawan and Puja rituals. Devotees from different parts of India and abroad witnessed this auspicious event.
It's noteworthy that Dr. Satpathy's monumental work, "Shri Guru Bhagwat" (author of over 68 books in Hindi, English, and Odia), is available in 18 languages, including English, with translations underway in German and Chinese. This book delves into various aspects of the Guru Tradition spanning ancient times, transcending any particular Guru; hence, it encompasses all religions, beliefs, sects, and traditions. Originally composed in Odia in the unique Nabakshri poetic meter, Shri Guru Bhagwat spans approximately 34,000 lines across eight volumes.
