Celebration of 22nd Guru Samarpan Divas, Mumbai
On November 15, 2025, the Kaka Saheb Dixit Trust of Shri Sai Baba, Mumbai, commemorated the 22nd Guru Samarpan Divas. Dr. Satpathy ji was invited to grace the event as the Chief Guest.
Shri Kakasaheb Dixit ji first met Shri Sai Baba on November 2, 1909. At the request of Shri Mirikar, Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande), a devoted follower of Baba, facilitated the introduction. Upon meeting Dixit ji, Baba warmly remarked that he had been waiting for him.
This initial encounter profoundly impacted Dixit ji, deepening his devotion to Shri Sai Baba. He began visiting Shirdi more frequently, and by 1910, he resolved to construct a building there.
Guided by Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji, the Shri Kakasaheb Dixit Trust celebrate this sacred occasion annually as 'Guru Samarpan Diwas'.
Shri Venkatesh Inamdar, the trustee , presented a comprehensive overview of the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the organization.
Shri Goraksha Gadilkar (I.A.S), CEO of the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust, was present at the event.
Following the Dhoop Aarti, students from Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai, captivated the audience with a graceful Nritya Vandana performance.
Ananya Sharma and Shubhang Munjal delivered a soulful musical performance featuring compositions and lyrics from the newly released album created by Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji.
Pt. Ajit Kadkade enthralled the audience with his mesmerizing renditions of devotional songs.
Dr. Satpathyji appreciated for the social work carried out by the Trust, highlighted the significance of the day, and remarked that Shri Dixit ji is among the few devotees who have served Shirdi Saibaba with deep devotion.
The program concluded with the Sej Aarti, followed by the distribution of prasad.
