Shirdi Saibaba temple site consecration ceremony, Brisbane, Australia
Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji, the esteemed figurehead of the Shirdi Sai Global movement, graced the land consecration ceremony of Shirdi Sai Sansthan Brisbane on February 17, 2024. The event took place at 2-14 Scrubby Creek Road, Browns Plains, QLD 4118.
Upon arrival, the trustees extended a warm traditional welcome to Dr. Satpathy ji. He proceeded to tour the site, acquired by Brisbane Sansthan for the construction of a Sai temple, carefully examining the plans and offering guidance to the team. He planted a Neem tree in the premises.
The founding members provided insights into Shirdi Sai Sansthan Brisbane during the gathering. The occasion included a Havan, a sacred fire ritual, and Bhajans, devotional songs, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of the event. More than 250 devotees, comprising individuals from India, New Zealand, various parts of Australia, as well as local attendees, graced the ceremony with their presence.
During his address to the devotees, Dr. Satpathy ji emphasized on several key points, few of them are:
A) Service has to be rendered without any expectation.
B) Guru Pooja is purely a Bhav Pooja.
C) We should not be judgemental.
D) Parents should take care of children and teach them the right things.
E) One has to be simple, humble, and honest.
He concluded his speech by praising the virtues of Shirdi Sai, expressing that he was more touched by Sai's kindness and humanitarianism than by His miracles.
In the evening, an exclusive meeting was arranged with the trustees, during which Dr. Satpathy ji addressed their queries, provided necessary guidance, and directions to the team.
