The Department of Philosophy, Ramadevi Women's University, Bhubaneswar in collaboration with  Jijnasa, recently organized a symposium on "GOPYA ru AGOPYA' --the confluence of Philosophy, Science, and Spirituality" The symposium was held on 5th February 2017 at R.D university auditorium.  Created by Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy,  'GOPYA ru AGOPYA' is an epic containing 2400 verses encompassing concepts of Cosmology, Cosmogeny, Science and Spirituality. It was indeed an honor for the organizers that Dr. Satpathy himself was present as the Chief Guest at the symposium. 

 

Addressing the academicians and students present, Dr. Satpathy expressed that - in future, the world may witness an increased awareness and interest relating to Shrishti Tatwa viz the Principles of Creation. He expressed that, with its efforts and opportunity for newer research, the humanity may lead towards the identification of new planets and may experience and discover the changing dynamics of the creation. 

 

Dr. Satpathy also emphasized that with the help of Guru, Gayatri, Ganesh and Geeta, the humanity would have to incorporate divine qualities  in one 's daily life so as to have the expansion of spirit for doing good to others
