Redmond, WA — August 16, 2026 — The Sai Parivar Foundation hosted Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji as Chief Guest for a cultural evening titled "An Evening of Inner Melody," held at the Redmond Performing Arts Center.

Dr. Satpathy ji inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The program featured classical Odissi dance, semi-classical dance performances by BnB Kids of Bellevue & India. A musical rendition was also presented by the BnB Kids of India & USA, featuring lyrics and music composed by Dr. Satpathy ji. A contemporary dance performance by Hashtag Group was also staged.

The evening included the release of a special music video, with lyrics and music composed by Dr. Satpathy ji. The composition is his gift to the younger generation, including Gen-Z — a tribute that reflects their own unique love for Shirdi Saibaba, which Dr. Satpathy ji has beautifully woven into this piece created just for them.
The City of Bellevue issued an official proclamation declaring August 14, 2026 as "Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Day," recognizing his lifelong contributions as an author, educator, humanitarian, and spiritual thinker dedicated to compassion, mutual respect, and peace.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Senator Tina Orwall, Mayor Mason Thompson, Councilmember Jared Nieuwenhuis, Prasad Anguluri of the City of Bothell, Bellevue City Councilmember Vishal Bhargava, and Northshore School Board Director Han Tran, City of DuPont council member and Seattle Gujarati Samaj President Mr. Jugal Thakore.

The President of Sai Parivar Foundation also felicitated Dr. Satpathy ji in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Shirdi Saibaba Temple, Bellevue.
