The 5th Maa Kheer Bhawani Utsav is being celebrated on Monday, June 22, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Jyeshtha Ashtami at Sai Ka Aangan Sushant Lok-1, Gurgaon, Haryana.

The event is being held under the blessings of revered Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji. Dr. Satpathy ji offered flower and garland to Maa Ragnya Devi, followed by auspicious ahuti to sacred fire to mark the completion of Puja by Dr. Satpathy ji

Hundreds of Kashmiri attended this event. Devotees across India and abroad participated.The atmosphere resonated with devotion as attendees recalled their cherished memories of celebrating Maa Kheer Bhawani Utsav at the sacred shrine in Tullamulla, Kashmir.Traditional Kheer (rice pudding) prasad was distributed to all devotees throughout the day.

A highlight of this year's utsav is the release of the Kashmiri translation of *Shri Guru Bhagwat Khand I* - Gaur Ta Shesh (गौर त शेष). The book and its e-book edition released by Dr. Satpathy ji during the event.

A vibrant Jystha Ashtami Mela was organized, showcasing an array of aromatic Kashmiri spices, fresh seasonal vegetables, handcrafted artifacts, and elegantly woven traditional garments, offering visitors a rich glimpse into the heritage of the valley.

Maa Kheer Bhawani Utsav stands as a shining example of how faith, culture, and community come together to keep centuries-old traditions alive. The annual celebration has steadily grown in stature, drawing larger participation each year and serving as an important platform for the Kashmiri Pandit community to reconnect with its roots, honour its spiritual legacy, and pass on its traditions to the younger generations.
