On the 9th Aug 2026, the CBS Community Development Foundation hosted a vibrant cultural evening 'Sai Smaran' in Dallas, drawing members of the Indian diaspora from across the metroplex for an evening celebrating art, music, and community spirit. The foundation invited Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji as the Chief Guest.

The program started with ceremonial lighting lamp by Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji.
This event featured, performance by BnB kids of Dallas, cultural dance by Nikhila Dance Group, Sarangi Dance Group, Payal Dance Group. 

On this occasion, the Mayor John B. Muns proclaimed 9th Aug 2026 as Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Day in city of Plano, the Plano Council in recognizing and celebrating Dr. Satpathy's extraordinary contributions to literature, humanitarian service, and the advancement of unity, peace and mutual respect which are values that reflect and strengthen the values of the City of Excellence. 

A music 'Milo Sai Hello Sai' was released by Dr. Satpathy ji, this music lyrics & composed Dr. Satpathy ji and sung by the young students. This musical rendition is for the new generation to convey their feeling to the God in their way. 

The event brought together families, elders, and youth for a program that showcased Indian classical and folk performances, cultural presentations, and community fellowship. Attendees enjoyed a lineup that reflected the diversity and richness of Indian traditions, offering both entertainment and a meaningful connection to cultural roots for the diaspora community in North Texas.

Dr. Satpathy ji mentioned that the evening was designed not only to entertain but to strengthen bonds within the community and pass on cultural heritage to the next generation growing up in the United States.
