Service camp was organized by Shri Shirdi Sai Karuna Sansthan, Moradabad

Under the aegis of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation, a service camp was organized by Shri Shirdi Sai Karuna Sansthan, Moradabad at Tigri from Nov. 1 to Nov. 4th, 2017. About 125-150 devotees from Gurugram, Delhi, Moradabad and Chandausi attended the camp.

Besides fooding, lodging, toilet facilities and a seminar pandal, the camp had a Pooja pandal where all four Aratis of Shri Sai Baba were conducted regularly. Activities like “Samoohik Shri Sai Satcharita Parayan,”Night long Shri Sai Naam Jaap“ and “Shri Satya Narayan Katha Pooja” were conducted in the Pooja pandal. Philanthropic activities like Food distribution, Cloth distribution and Medicine distribution were done outside the gate of Shri Sai service camp.

The main features of the camp were –
 

  1. A seminar on “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam and Shri Sai” was organized on 3rd of Nov. at 11 am in which Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Youth and Sports Shri Chetan Chauhan was the Chief Guest and A.D.G. – BSF, Shri Arun Kumar was the guest of Honor. Shri Bhagirath Nanda and Shri Prabhu Narayan from Delhi, Dr J. P Singh from Gurugram and Dr. Chaudhary from Noida were guest speakers. Some local speakers also participated in the seminar.
     

  2. An intensive Ganga cleaning activity was undertaken by the volunteers of SSGF.
     

  3. A display gallery was created to highlight the Philanthropic activities, service to underprivileged sections of society and disaster relief work by different associated units of SSGF under the guidance of Rev. Dr. C. B. Satpathy, felicitations meted out to him on different occasions, some of the Temples inspired by him and events so far to celebrate the Centenary Year of the Mahasamadhi of Sai Baba. Books authored by him and Bhajan CDs composed by Dr. Satpathy were also displayed. A separate corner was created to display activities of Shri Shirdi Sai Karuna Sansthan, Moradabad.
     

The camp was concluded on 4th of Nov. after noon Aarti.
