18th foundation day of the Shirdi Sai temple, Kushinagar, Nagpur

A function was organized by Sai Kripa Sansthan, Nagpur in association with Shirdi Sai Global Foundation on 23rd July 2017 evening to celebrate the 18th foundation day of the Shirdi Sai temple, Kushinagar, Nagpur. The main attraction of the function was a spiritual discourse by Revered Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, the renowned Scholar, Spiritual thinker, and Philanthropist. 

On this occasion, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, who was the Chief Guest, felicitated Revered Dr. C. B. Satpathy for his lifelong Humanitarian endeavors and spreading Indian Culture, Philosophy, and Spirituality in numerous national and international forums. In addition to the Divisional Commissioner Nagpur, Senior Government Officers and trustees & devotees of many Shri Sai temples from all across India & abroad were the other dignitaries present during the function. 

In his discourse, Dr. Satpathy said that the temples should not only be places of worship, but these should also be centers for the welfare of the society. He highlighted the critical interdependence mixture of ‘Samaj’, ‘Sabhyata’, ‘Sanskriti’, ‘Samhati’ and ‘Sahitya’ in the evolution of human civilization. Dr. Satpathy further said that it is very important to adhere to simplicity in whatever we do as simplicity is the key to finding bliss and peace in life. The welfare of all-human beings, other animals, and even the plant kingdom is essential for the progress of any civilization.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest, Shri Nitin Gadkari said that Indian Philosophy is very important for the progress of our nation and race. He applauded the role played by Dr. Satpathy in spreading Indian Culture and Philosophy in the world. Shri Gadkari also mentioned that the Indian Culture is recognized throughout the world because of the thoughts and teachings of our saints and sages.

The cultural program comprising of Shri Ganesh Vandana and bhajans by famous Marathi singer Pandit Ajit Karkare enthralled the audience.  The Chairman of Sai Kripa Sansthan, Nagpur thanked Dr. Satpathy for his inspiration and constant guidance. He also thanked the Chief Guest Shri Nitin Gadkari and other distinguished guests for their gracious presence.
