Book Release Event at the 23rd Delhi Book Fair at Pragati Maidan

Shirdi Sai Global Foundation, Gurugram in association with Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi, organized a book release event at the Convention Hall, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on the occasion of 23rd Delhi Book Fair, on 1st September 2017 from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. 

 

The event was organized to release the translated version of the book 'Shri Guru Bhagavat' (Vol-I) in the Sanskrit language. The Guru Bhagavat, originally written in Odia language by Dr. C. B. Satpathy, consisted of five volumes and twenty thousand lines. Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) graced the event as Chief Guest. On the dias, were also present Prof. Ramesh Kumar Pandey, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Bhagirathi Nanda, Dean and Shri Debi Prasad Tripathi, the Proctor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi. 

 

The speakers from the University praised the above said spiritual treatise and described the Sanskrit version as a glorious contribution to Sanskrit literature. 

 

On the occasion, another book in Sanskrit titled 'Guru Bhakti Kushumanjali Shatakam' written by Dr. Bhagirathi Nanda, under the spiritual inspiration of Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy was also released. Dr. Nanda dedicated his literary creation to the spiritual inspiration of Dr. Satpathy.

 

Addressing the audience, Prof. Ramesh Kumar Pandey vividly explained the importance of Guru or the Master and said that the grace of Goddess Saraswati and the Guru are essential for creating high-quality literature. He expressed his immense pleasure that 'Shri Guru Bhagavat' has been translated in Sanskrit.

 

The Chief Guest Dr. Mahesh Sharma said that one has no control over choosing his parents, but 'Shri Guru Bhagavat' will show the way to choose the right Guru or the Master. Sanskrit is the language for which India is proud of. He praised the various spiritual & philanthropic initiatives undertaken under the inspiration and guidance of Dr. Satpathy.

 

Addressing the audience, Dr. Satpathy brought to fore the concept of Guru Tattva. Guru evolves in the disciples the vital qualities of life and thus to bring him up spiritually to his own level. Spiritualism means expanding one's Spirit to accept others as they are. 

 

The Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha felicitated Dr. Satpathy for his contribution to literature and society. Shri Arun Kumar, ADG, BSF, delivered the vote of thanks.
