SHIRDI SAI GLOBAL FOUNDATION, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2016: Green & Clean Shirdi Foundation in association with Shirdi Sai Global Foundation organized tree plantation and cleaning of roads in Shirdi on 11th November 2016. Dr. C.B. Satpathy Ji led the plantation drive, planted a tree and appreciated the efforts of members of the foundation. He also organized financial support and handed over cheques worth INR 2 Lacs for this noble drive. In his speech, Dr. Satpathy referred to the importance given to environment protection which includes tree plantation and cleanliness in Vedic literature. He indicated that this drive would certainly come in handy for the centenary celebration as millions and millions of devotees are expected to throng Shirdi during the centenary year. He further stressed that if each and every person protects the existing plants in and around their house, it will augur well. He is also of the view that if each householder plants a tree, it will strengthen and protect the environment. He has lauded the cleanliness work of Prakriti Seva Sanstha of Surat which has been doing an exemplary job over the last five years. The organizers felicitated Dr. Satpathy on this occasion and thanked him profusely for the guidance and support extended to the foundation.
